Bone Safety Signs’ “BONELIGHT” comes in 3mm & 4mm Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). “BONELIGHT®” 3mm is made of two sheets of .021 Aluminum and the 4mm is made of .025 Aluminum bonded to a thermoplastic core. The ACM's flat rigid surface and weather resistance ensure long-term work zone performance and durability. Add to that a 40% decrease in weight compared to traditional .080 aluminum signs, and ACM makes an excellent alternative for lightweight Type III signage. It is NCHRP350 approved and ISO9001-2000 - ISO14001 certified.
BONELIGHT uses Kynar 500 PVDF, a paint manufactured out of polyfluorated resin, formulated with other metal micro-grains for color, and is protected by a peel-off protective sheeting. Kynar 500 PVDF is resistant to weather, chemicals, corrosiveness and ultraviolet rays, to enable the substrate to maintain its color and texture for up to 20 years.
